La Roux - brand new on the MTV :)

I am sure that many of you have seen her, or at least noticed her on the new MTV top charts.
With specific hair style, bright eyes and just for a moment childish voice, at first sight I didn't liked her. I thought "just another break through artist that gonna end for a few weeks".
But, (lucky me) I was wrong. Today I got her album, and "suddenly" it's on repeat all the time.
Funky and exotic retro electro synth pop dance vibes had occupied my office. Usually I do not get stuck on electro sounds longer than 2 hours, but this new indie post punk/rock phase is getting better and better. The fact is that melody makes the song a song, but I also think that the retro sound makes it more unique than all the similar new waves around. With a little bit reminding of YAZOO it gets even more interesting while you travel through the entire album.
So, I'm not gonna talk much about it for start, just go ahead and try it.

Why art on demand?

I am a person who loves art and everything about it :)

The idea about this blog was my everyday research of new artists, new talents, the process of discovering very interesting artists around the globe (thank to the internet of course). So I decided to make a place on my own on the blog sphere where I can put all my favorites in it, and where I can give a little bigger or shorter opinion on why I like things.

Why art on demand?

The name I used for this blog it's not something new and unique. I started from the point of not having all the informations at one place, so it kinda sounded attractive and interesting.

And the Daily Newspaper - thing, is because I'm going to try and update this pages every day.

I'm not sure that I'm gonna make it to be up to date all the time, and with my own opinion and critics, but I can promise that I can give my best to make it more interesting ;) .
